Is it really for AD blocking? For home use, I can imagine that you want to block porn sites for your kids while you don't want to get such restriction for yourself. What is this AD blocking in the first place? Is it that much dangerous or annoying? We are developers of webfilter and DNS filter and other stuffs but we don't use such thing in our home. In NxFilter, you can import those lists from the Internet but it already provides a list of domains having more than 4 million domains classified into 56 categories. But if they do the same thing that is 'ad block', why do you want to do the same thing again? If it's based on some kind of list, and if you use the same list, you don't need to do the same thing again. About your question 'can this work in tandom with Pi-Hole'.
